Tomorrow we’re bringing in the remaining 5 pigs to the butcher. Somewhere throughout our research we read that when you feed pigs beer right before slaughter they end up tasting better. It has something to do with keeping the pigs calm and then the meat won’t be filled with all those stress hormones when they are transported to the butcher. So, today the pigs got some beer! We filled up the stroller with beer in the morning and after nap time and let the pigs have a little sip!
